Martin Horák, Ph.D.

Martin Horak recieved his PhD from the 2nd Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague in 2005. He spent his postdoctoral studies at the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland, USA (with Robert J. Wenthold, 2005-2010). He has been serving as an evaluator of Neuroscience and Neuropharmacology research grants for the European Commission. He is also a member of the Director's Advisory Board and coordinates a PhD programme within the Institute of Physiology. He is currently a senior scientist leading his own research at the Department of Cellular Neurophysiology, Institute of Physiology, CAS.
