On Wednesday, April 15 was the first of a series of lectures in the new cycle of lectures "The human body in health and disease." These lectures are intended for the general public to show the importance of basic research of various diseases and its contribution to clinical practice. Completely filled auditorium listened with interest to the lecture of two distinguished experts on heart prof. Bohuslav Ošťádal (FGÚ) and prof. Jana Pirk (IKEM). Both also end answered numerous questions from the audience. Other lectures in this cycle will be dedicated to epilepsy.
