February 9, 2015 held a press conference on the occasion of the first International Day of epilepsy. The press conference was organized by the Institute of Physiology within program Strategie AV21 "Quality life in health and disease," Academy of Sciences (Qualitas) in cooperation with the association EpiStop and Czech League Against Epilepsy (ČLPE). The main purpose of this activity is to improve prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and society's attitude to this disease. Suffer from epilepsy in the Czech Republic, about 70 000 people.
