Jan Krůšek, Ph.D.
Jan Krůšek was born in 1961. He received his RNDr. degree in 1985 and Ph.D in biophysics in 1991 from Charles University, Prague. In 1992 he spent his postdoctoral stay at the Department of Pharmacology, University College London (prof. S. G. Cull-Candy) and in 1996 at the Institute of Neurobiology, University of Puerto Rico Medical Campus, San Juan (prof. R. K. Orkand). He was awarded the Prize of the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences and currently is a member of Field-of-study board for Ph.D. study program Biophysics, chemical and macromolecular physics. He was member of the Academy Assembly in years 2010-2012.
